Today I’ve got some very cool and inspirational work for yall. It’s the illustrative and type designs of Jessica Hische. Jessica is an accomplished designer, and has tons of very inspirational work.

I’ve been a big fan of fitted hats for a long time. So I often check to see what cool new stuff is out. There are tons of designs out there, other than your normal sports team logo. A lot of the designs are great, and use wonderful typography, illustrations, color schemes, textures, etc. I’ve always found them pretty inspirational.
So typography is awesome. From the popularity of my Quality Free Font posts (serif, sans-serif, script, and even dingbat) I’d say yall enjoy type a good deal too! :) Free fonts are nice, and there are some very beautiful, well-crafted free fonts. But, there are also a whole lot of great type foundries out there creating beautiful, unique premium fonts. So today I’d like to show yall five very cool type foundries, and some of the work that they do.

For this weeks inspiration post I have some very cool Vintage Advertisments for yall. I’m a big fan of most things old-timey and vintage, so I really love these. The vintage ads also often have some very cool typography, nice illustrations, and much more to draw inspiration from.

I know Dingbat fonts aren’t the most popular. A lot of them are, well, pretty unhelpful. But, there are also a lot of very cool Dingbat fonts out there that can be used for a variety of things. Ornaments, decoration, patterns, silhouettes and much more.
