Freebies – 44 High-Res Summer Garden Textures
It’s that time of year again. In Texas, that means a super hot, always-pool-weather, summer. (Well, for the most part.) On one particularly nice day, I was able to snap some Summer Garden shots.

Today’s textures are something I’ve been eyeing taking pictures of for a while. There are these cool old metal sculptures at a local restaurant that we go to pretty often. They are rustic, worn, grungy, and very, very cool looking. They are fairly large, but even the individual scraps of metal that make them up are really cool.
To start the week off, I’ve got a cool freebie pack for you. It’s Confetti! My nephew recently won some school contest, and they wrapped the prize in newspaper and confetti. He’s a smart kid, and he knows what I do, so he suggested I check it out. It was very cool. So I decided to make some Photoshop Brushes, Vectors and textures out of the confetti. I wanted to give yall a variety.
One day a couple of weeks ago while I was hanging out at my printers, he showed me a very awesome classic car that they had in the back. I love classic cars, and this one was especially cool. Lots of cool textures, patterns, etc. So I went back a couple of days later and took a whole bunch of pictures. And here they are! :)
Today’s texture pack is a little bit different. This weekend, I bought a very cool package of old postal letters from an antique dealer. Right when I saw them, I knew I had to do something with them. They were just so cool, and historic.
Happy 2010 Everyone! Hope yall had nice relaxing vacations (if any! ;) ), and are ready to get back to work! I know I am! To start the year off, I’m bringing yall some pretty original textures (Thats the goal anyway!). This is a pack of 46 High-Quality Graffiti Textures. I’ve always been a fan of graffiti, so I’ve been excited to get this pack posted.
For those of you that don’t know, I live in (normally sunny) Houston, Texas. Even in our Winters, it does not normally get very cold. Let alone snow. I’ve probably seen snow here a total of 3 times in my 16+ years in Texas. Most of the time, it’s a super-light flurry that lasts for [...]
Hello all, hope your weekends going well. Today I’ve got some textures that are a bit different. I took these a little while back while taking the pictures for the Grunge Remodeling Textures at a friends house. My friend said, if I was looking for textures, to check out this Plaster stuff he had.
So I was at my friend’s house last night, having a few beers and discussing this last week’s South Park, when I saw he just recently took down some wall paper, and was planning on doing some painting. The wall looked awesome, as far as cool grunge textures go. So I asked him if I [...]
Hello all. I’m sure you more than aware of GoMedia by now. If not, they are a Design Studio that also makes some great design resources (weaponry, as they call it). Anyway, the guys over at GoMedia released a new texture pack, called Spray Paint Textures Vol. 2. It’s a very cool (and different) set [...]
