• Inspiration – The Work of Illustrator & Designer Stefan Glerum

This week’s inspiration is the work of Stefan Glerum. He is a Dutch illustrator & graphic designer with a very cool illustration style. His work has a vintage feel, and makes great use of color schemes, textures, and hand drawn type. Very cool stuff all around. You can find more info & work on his site. Here is a bit about Stefan:

Growing up as a healthy young Dutch boy, Stefan Glerum (Amsterdam, 1983) developed an interest in old paper, second hand records and extremely large trousers. To give shape to these fascinations Glerum started to work as an assistent to Dutch master of the clear line Joost Swarte. Glerum studied illustration at the Academy St. Joost and works as a freelance illustrator and designer, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Interesting stuff, I like some of the work here, a few things remind me of King of the Hill, that kind of animation.
