This past week, my wife, my nephew and I went to Lake Charles for the weekend. It was tons of fun. On the way back, we stopped at the Texas visitor center, just to see what they had to offer. We found walls and walls of "What to do in [blank] Town" brochures! Some we’re pretty interesting, some weird, and a decent amount we’re very nicely designed. So I decide to take some pictures, and share the inspiration with yall. Hope you enjoy!

Interesting brochure designs indeed! Thanks for sharing.
As a Texan, this simply makes me proud to retweet this article. I’ve always thought our visitor centers had excellently designed brochures and promotional media.
Glad I’ve got some backup in that opinion!
Thanks for sharing this! Love your site BTW. Love it!
Some of them are delicious brochures; I like the old touch of Cracker Barrel design. Thanks for this post; it was really inspirational…
Great designs. There really is a lot you can do with brochures. Thanks for the post.
Gold mine! I was surprised that I kept scrolling and scrolling for so many examples of nice work. I will definitely be checking in at visitors centers for inspiration while on the road. Thanks for sharing.
PS - I have noticed that Cracker Barrel has been upping their ante in the design department lately. nice find.
What a great idea to look at the travel brochures for inspiration! I don’t think I’ll look at these kinds of things ever again. Thanks for sharing.
